2nd REPORT - Operation End of Days - 05/02/2011

BLACK OPS TEAM

With more than half of the Alpha Wolf Company ending up in Kabul, recon Echo Wolf Company losing almost more than half of their men, and us trapped in a mine death trap land… Fenrir and Pariah shouting at one another... No One wanted to take point. It was up to MY team to save us all. The BLACK OPS WOLVES!!!

I decided to take point with my team so no one else would get caught in the mine field and end this pointless discussion. It proved to be hard and exhausting and we finally had to call in the dogs to help us. It wasn’t easy, but nothing worth doing ever is.

Pariah carried a wounded and Fenrir was covering I’m, always looking out for the enemy. Always ready to kill them all… No one was being left behind either dead, or alive! Pariah and Fenrir would make sure of that.

The weather wasn’t helping and the rain of rockets blasting nearby drove the commander insane. Before that happened, I leaded the Black Ops Wolves to meet the enemy. I rather face a fanatical enemy than a lunatic superior. Pour soul… couldn’t deal with the pressure, the stress… and all those dead bodies covered in paint.

We got close. Really close. My 5 men and I were hiding in the swamp, trying to flank the enemy when the unexpected happened. They were doing the same, trying to flank the Alpha Company. The enemy commander was smart, maybe smart enough to deserve a promotion... To general DEAD!!! We attack with all we got. We could end in this filthy swamp, but they wouldn’t get past us. They would never flank the Alpha’s. We would make sure of that.

At the first shots, 3 enemies dropped dead. Head shoot. PERFECT! We stood our ground with 3 men and sent 2 to warn the commander. They tried, running and dodging machine gun fire and grenades, they almost left the swamp. Almost… all that confusion and noise made the crocodile’s nervous and they turned on them. One didn’t escape and was dragged to the depths of the swamp. The other barely made it just to be killed by an enemy sniper. Just plain bad luck… they got so close…

Three of us left. Pinned down by enemy fire. No were to run, no were to hide. But we didn’t want to run. Didn’t want to hide. So we faced death in the eyes and stood tall and proud. The sound of our paint ripping the leaves was almost overwhelming. We throwed them all we got. Emptying pot after pot. Throwing all of our grenades. We were almost finished. Almost empty. Almost dead!
It had a purpose, as long as we got their attention and their paint, the Alpha Company was safe. We took some down and lost no one else. But that was about to end. No more paint left. Nothing more to do but wait for that paintball with our name one it…

It was then that we heard it. A blessed sound coming from the skies above. There was no mistake. The Cobras had arrived. Soon after the sound of their twenty millimeter cannon firing ripped the skies just like thunder! It was divine!!!
The enemy retreated and we stormed their empty positions. We took whatever paint we could find. Filled our pots and gave them HELL!!! Paint all over the place. Caos and death... by paint. It was the end of days and we were loving it!

The air strike began and we stopped. We heard Fenrir battle cry and look back. The rest of the Alpha Company was charging. Running mad as the Wolves they are. We dropped to our knees. Tired. Exhausted. It was over.

The Alphas runned past us, leaded by mad Fenrir and Pariah, finishing off the remainders of the enemy conclave. But as they runned past us Pariah stoped and kneeled at my side. He put is hand on my shoulder and said just two words: “We won!!”

It was enough for me and my team. We needed nothing else to be said. We stood proud and runned together. Like the Wolf pack we are!!
